About British International School of Zagreb (BISZ)
British International School of Zagreb (BISZ) started operating on September 02, 2013. It has now completed six full educational years as an International School. BISZ is the sister school to Kreativan razvoj Primary School, a private educational institution that has been operating for twenty four years. It is the oldest and one of the leading primary schools in Zagreb, Croatia.
Over the past 28 years Kreativan razvoj Primary School has had foreign students from over 50 countries attend our school (USA, GB, Canada, Australia, Germany, Austria, Italy, Hungary, China, Russia, Syria,Lebanon, Turkey, Poland, Malaysia) to name a few. We have shown remarkable results in learning foreign languages, especially English, and suggestions made by the parents of these students in opening an International School were one of the key reasons for the establishment of the British International School of Zagreb.

For a good 41 years, the words "me" and "afraid" never belonged in the same sentence. Fear was simply not a part of my nature. However, that changed when my son reached school age. I realized that we couldn't remain in Dubrovnik, as he needed a more stimulating and intellectually challenging program that would encourage his growth and allow him to express his interests rather than stifle them. Now in Year 2 at the British International School, which is the Cambridge program, has just completed his first presentation and project. While I've received various opinions about my child, I always felt deep inside that I would follow my own path. I had no idea back then that my approach would align with theirs. BIS not only offers educational support but also takes a lead in raising Tom to be a young man of integrity, dignity, and noble values-qualities that will shape him into a leader of tomorrow. Every day, Tom gives me reasons to be grateful for the decision his father and I made to enroll him at BIS. We are all immensely appreciative of the positive impact you have on the upbringing of new generations, teaching that religion, ethnicity, or differences should not affect the lives of children.
The school is in a beautiful location. Perfect conditions for enjoying all sports activities.
A school with an excellent program, promising for everyone who wants to get a quality education. Excellent conditions for work and study
The best school in Croatia
The school and teachers are excellent, however the principal is somewhat problematic. To transfer to their next international school our children required references which the school policy does not permit. This put the children's next placement at risk. The principal refused to perform the reference and stated “the requests of parents whose children are leaving the school do not interest us”. It’s a shame because the standard of teaching is high. This is really a good local school but is not set up for international students moving to and from Zagreb

Constant change of teachers, poor menu, facilities need an urgent renovation.
All around a scam. The principal intimidates and verbally abuses students. below average education. No standards. The school claims to be a member of international organization which is a FRAUD. there is an investigation in this matter.. Do not come near this place. RUN.
