About British International School of Zagreb (BISZ)
British International School of Zagreb (BISZ) started operating on September 02, 2013. It has now completed six full educational years as an International School. BISZ is the sister school to Kreativan razvoj Primary School, a private educational institution that has been operating for twenty four years. It is the oldest and one of the leading primary schools in Zagreb, Croatia.
Over the past 28 years Kreativan razvoj Primary School has had foreign students from over 50 countries attend our school (USA, GB, Canada, Australia, Germany, Austria, Italy, Hungary, China, Russia, Syria,Lebanon, Turkey, Poland, Malaysia) to name a few. We have shown remarkable results in learning foreign languages, especially English, and suggestions made by the parents of these students in opening an International School were one of the key reasons for the establishment of the British International School of Zagreb.

How would you rate British International School of Zagreb (BISZ)?
Constant change of teachers, poor menu, facilities need an urgent renovation.
The children feel comfortable and learn a lot in this school. Some teachers are native English speakers. With the other teachers you can hear that English is a foreign language for them. I would generally expect better English from a British international school. The way the expensive private school managed homeschooling during the pandemic and shifted a lot of work onto the parents was an imposition. But the biggest problem is that once you have paid the school fees, you are no longer perceived as a customer. You have to be content with what you get, not what was promised. Complaints are also undesirable, as you run the risk of being expelled from school, which was the case this year with several families. There is only one opinion in school for teachers and parents, and that in the age of the 21st century. Those who are used to such behaviour are in good hands at this school, and I recommend that everyone else look for another school.
