I do not believe NIA to be a great school, and I *strongly* urge you to consider other options. STAFF While there are a few commendable teachers, there are only few. NIA has a problem with staff turnover in which teachers rarely stay past 2-3 years. This has been reported to be due to low satisfaction with pay and, particularly, management. There have been numerous incidents of verbal abuse towards both the teachers (and students) by those higher up. Many staff members have said they do not feel respected, rather belittled. The management is unprofessional. This is with regards to leadership and organisation. When it is time for inspection, the school changes up and some teachers are nicer for a short while. It is embarrassing. Nepotism is also evident with higher-ranking teachers. For those who have been at the school, it is clear whom I am referring to. For those who have not, do know that the higher ranking the staff are, it's not more experience or skill they have, but rather the Academic Head is their sister. If you are considering this as a place of employment, I *highly* recommend other schools in Qatar. STUDENTS The management at NIA are less concerned for its students, and more for its prestige and image. Certain staff believe it is appropriate to yell at students in an open corridor. There is a lack of professionalism - it is clear when the teacher disliked a student and treated them with less dignity. The school promotes this culture of fearing teachers in the case they would be reprimanded. The quality of teaching is also low. For reasons mentioned, the school finds it hard to retain talented teachers. OTHER The extra-curricular activities at the school is lacking. While they had big names such as TEDxYouth and MUN, these were mishandled and only successful on the surface. Again, the school only cares for appearance, and so it has only been talked about positively. That is false. Other issues include how the school is racially discriminatory and malpractices regarding examinations. I will not elaborate on these. I am happy to say that my time at NIA is in the past. There are far better schools in Qatar, however, so go for those instead!

From what I can say, this is one of the best schools in Doha. The community in this school is amazing and I think you (Or your child) might like it. The education and teaching quality is overall over decent. The only problem you might face could be fees, this school is quite expensive. Other than that, It is a great school!
