About Øresunds International Skole
Øresund International Skole is a parent-run free school with teaching from kindergarten to 9th grade. In collaboration with the parents, the students are encouraged to acquire knowledge, skills, working methods and expressions that contribute to the individual student's versatile personal development.
We are a small school that has a great deal of individual teaching where the student learns at their own pace, which means that we meet the student where the student is. We have a Danish curriculum and many teaching hours in English .
We have a life of tolerance and good discipline. Our academic level is high and we require a lot of our students, which means that our students finish with good graduation. Øresund International Skole offers good peace of mind and a safe everyday life for your child.

Great school. My daughter attends the 1st grade and is really happy there. Teachers are dedicated, skilled and very caring. Both principal and teachers know your child personally and can take care of his or her needs. I am really impressed with this school. It was our best decision to chose this school for our girl. I give Ø-I-S my warmest recommendations.

I registered my daughter in an old famous school after interview they informed us it was not possible for them to take her she would be their in waiting for next year. I was quite depressed after I got email from that school. I searched few private school near my place and came across Øresund international Skole. I thoroughly read about this school on their website and called them very next day. An extremely polite lady attend my call and asked me to come for meeting.just after one meeting my husband and I am completely convinced this is the school we were actually looking for. No doubt we are so lucky to find this school. School principal knows each and everything about every student in school . She personally takes interest in all activities of a child . She keeps an eye on everything from classroom to play area . She is always there not only to help my daughter but also guide us how we can help her to concentrate better in school .She is so vigilant and aware about child in her school . She knows well what a student has in lunch box , what’s her sleeping time and even her interests hobbies and activities at home. t’s amazing how teachers gives individual help and guidance to every child. They are very strict as far as discipline is concerned . There is no compromise on discipline. Teachers are extremely loving and friendly with kids . Just in one year this school staff seems like family members to me
