How would you rate Lycée Francais International de Bangkok (LFIB)?
Albeit featuring nice facilities, LFIB is not an environment I would recommend. Among it’s poor teaching methods and lack of student safeguarding, the school also has a great under appreciation for artistic skills and education. A breeding ground for drug and mental health issues, LFIB is more suited for outspoken and extroverted individuals with a disregard for academic work.
Very good teaching program (english / french/ thai) supported by French guidelines Many international kids A lot of activities and sharing time Parents are also playing a role
Lack of commitment from the teachers. My son's teacher started the academic year 2 weeks late because of the quarantine. However he knew about the quarantine several month before traveling abroad but preferred to grant himself additional holidays (4 month / year is apparently not enough). In addition the online school since covid is very insufficient with only 3 and half hour of zoom per week and the material provided by the teacher is only scans of books
At the first thinking before registered my kids to this school. I was asking myself about I should put them in English school would be better or not. After 3 years past, I can't imagine how excellent they are; they are good in French and English. Thanks to Lycee Francais International de Bangkok.
