About Finnish International School Georgia (FIS)
Finnish International School Georgia (FIS) is the very first educational institution in the whole region of the Caucasus that implements the world’s best education system. The idea of launching a Finnish Model school in Georgia was initiated in 2018 by an investment and advisory company - Alliance Group Holding.
FIS views raising active citizens capable of efficiently tuning in and adapting to the fast-changing environment and thriving in the expanding international marketplace as its primary objective. At FIS, we focus on developing creativity, critical thinking, as well as cooperation skills in the pupils. Global Citizenship and Sustainable Development Goals give the students an unprecedented view on their roles in an international world as global actors. In our school, our students learn the concepts of citizenship, business, entrepreneurship, governance, professional life and leadership through experiential learning.

How would you rate Finnish International School Georgia (FIS)?
The school provides quite good academic quality while doing absolutely nothing about their terrible quality of management and service in general. The constant flow of promises they can never make up to considering making a space better for children, providing good transportation and so on. Tons of delays, promises, and basically lies from the school management. We've been there for a year now, were basically pushed into an upfront payment for the next year and now the only thing we regret is the fact that we can't take that payment back. The school is a management nightmare. Aside from that kids are happy, it's friendly and everything but the level of education is low as well. To my knowledge the only Finnish person in Finnish International School is its chief manager who is a really good person doomed to work for school's owners.
