The German School Budapest belongs to a network of 140 German schools abroad in 70 countries. At present, more than 570 students from elementary school to high school attend our school, located in a prime location in the hills of Buda. The school building is excellently equipped and offers the students an atmosphere in which they can feel at home. This is also due to our competent and dedicated staff. The educators as well as the administrative staff create an all-round positive and supportive environment for our students. The German School Budapest is a meeting school, German and Hungarian children learn together and they are taught by German and Hungarian teachers.

I attended this school for 8 years and cannot say anything negative about it. It's an amazingly supportive and international environment. If you set a goal, every teacher will be there to help you achieve it. My sister is attending right now and loves it just as much. Unfortunately, there is always a small group of parents who don't understand that this is a university preparatory school with a corresponding bilingual curriculum (that is not for everyone) and not a stereotypical private school where you can just buy your children their diploma. Fantastic school with a truly multicultural mentality that prepares students for success in the 21st century. Both of my children were warmly welcomes, enjoyed their time, and made lifelong friends. The curriculum is challenging but in a good way, the facilities are state-of-the-art and the teachers are committed to the children's success. Their graduation rate is virtually 100% and has been so for many, many years, and students go on to attend some of the most prestigious universities in Europe. Highly recommend!
