Beijing Huijia Private School, established in 1993, is the first authorized Chinese school by the International Baccalaureate Organization. Huijia is a new-style boarding and commuting school, and has formed a complete system of IB curriculum (PYP, MYP, and DP). As the largest and oldest private school in Beijing Huijia has 75 classes, more than 2000 students, 500 teachers from different countries and regions.
Since the introduction of the IB courses into the school in 1997, there have been some 3,000 graduates from Huijia who have successfully admitted to many famous universities overseas, realizing their dream of studying abroad. The time-honored student advising system originated in Western countries and is widely recognized by most of the middle schools there. Student advisors in the Huijia University Guidance Center are teachers with rich experience in teaching practice and educational management. By spending huge amount of time with students and closely observing their daily performances, these advisors would have an intensive and all-dimensional understanding of each of the students and are able to communicate efficiently and intimately with them, which provides the fundamental basis of offering the most suitable and detailed guidance to the students.
