How would you rate Oslo International School?
A very poor excuse for an international school and for the fees. Half the teachers are either asleep at the wheel or too busy throwing so much homework at the kids that the parents are spending nights helping the kids. On top of it some of the leadership are just so complacent and if you call them out, they get a temper. Just a bad school. No other way to say it. Like the others are saying it here, we have no other real options unfortunately. We can’t wait to get out of this toxic, vicious school. Oh and the school community is utterly uninspiring.
Zero facilities and the cost is out of control. Paying hefty salaries for a bunch uninteresting leftover teachers. Some of the teachers are clearly lazy and other lacking compassion. Why are you even in this school? Terrible option. But Oslo has no other options so we are stuck.
Interesting comments and ratings from Hans Pettersen as we cannot see that he has been a customer of the school the last 10 years....!

This school has a few advantages as opposed to Norwegian schools such as there being a greater focus on English. Sadly however, this school is not worth the money. It is sadly too closely connected with the government rules, hence there is not enough individual attention given to each student. It is also stuck to a curriculum it must follow so it is pretty much an average school. If you are thinking about making your kids go to this school; think again. The school building also requires maintenance.
