Teachers are rude, never listen to what students say, and socially if your child is neurodivergent like my autistic daughter, they will be made fun of and people never believe that she’s autistic and make fun of her for autistic behaviors. She says an autistic boy gets pushed around in the hallway and when she tried standing up for him the teacher said “No.” and SHOVED my daughter away from the boy, as he was ruthlessly mocked for his autism. Horrible.

This is an excellent school that has greatly excelled during the pandemic. If learning and global perspective and thinking critically while caring about others is important to one as a parent then BISW is the school for your student. Our son has attended for six years. The IB program is very rigorous without the intense pressure I sense in other school environments. I just made the tuition payment and I know it was worth every penny.

A super professional independent private school in the heart of DC serving Nursery to High School Students. What makes this school standout is its British high quality curriculum and diverse student population. Class sizes are small and the teaching first class.
