As a cornerstone of the innovative character that defines El Centro Inglés, both in its teaching methodology and curriculum design, our academic departments choose not to rely on traditional textbooks, whether printed or digital. Instead, they develop and provide their own bespoke learning materials, enabling us to achieve our educational objectives more effectively and tailor learning to the needs of our students.
From Year 5 (3º EPO) through to Year 13 (2º Bachillerato), all subjects make use of Microsoft OneNote and Microsoft Teams. These platforms allow both teachers and students to access content, activities, resources, projects, applications, and learning materials within a single integrated environment, eliminating the need to constantly navigate between different websites and tools.
To support teaching and learning, our school management platform, ATALAYA, includes its own Teacher's Digital Gradebook. This system not only facilitates the recording of continuous assessment, term reports, and individual observations, but also enables efficient communication with families, tutors, and school leaders regarding attendance, uniform compliance, medical matters, behavioural issues, forums, and other aspects of school life.
In addition, we provide a range of dedicated technology facilities to support digital learning and innovation:
