About Nord Anglia International School Hong Kong (NAIS)
The Nord Anglia International School Hong Kong (NAIS) opened in September 2014 and is a member of the Nord Anglia Education group. We have 24 classes for Years 1-7 with 48 teaching staff and 40 other staff. We use the English national Curriculum as the framework for teaching and learning.
Mandarin is taught daily up to Year 5 when Spanish is also introduced. Specialist teachers teach Art, Music, Drama and P.E. for Years 1-7. Over 60 extra curricular activities are offered by staff and the local community will also have access to the facilities. The school will also be developing as a teaching institute providing training, seminars and courses for both local staff and those working for Nord Anglia Education. The Nord Anglia International School Hong Kong 'Be Ambitious' philosophy drives our educational offer. We believe there is no limit to what your child can achieve. We ignite your child's curiosity and tell them to reach for their dreams, to step outside their comfort zones and try something new, and above all, to be ambitious.

Although many parents wrote to NAIS, both collectively and individually, we didn't receive a response regarding our real concerns about declining standards and increasing fees in 2021/22! Most teachers are good, and those who taught my daughter are exceptional. Many of us had wanted to work with the school to improve the situation. Unfortunately, there comes the point when you decide that there is no other option than to move on, which we have. NAIS HK has the potential to be a great school; however, it can't ignore the issues or dismiss the concerns of hundreds of parents and think it's ok. I'm sure NAIS will replace the students it's losing, but its standards will not improve until parents' concerns are appropriately addressed.
What a wonderful school! I wish I had this kind of school when I was a kid. They thought of everything when they created this school. They have the Best Teachers, the best environment for the children and such an amazing community of families.
It is a happy place we don't feel any bias, which is not the case we experienced at many other schools in HK. The staff of admissions are enthusiastic and responsive, not like their peers at many "top" schools run by local staff.
