Wycombe Abbey School Nanjing (WASNJ) is a private, co-educational day and boarding school in Tangshan, in the Jiangning District of Nanjing, roughly 20 km east of the city centre and next to the Tangshan Hot Spring Resort. It was set up by the Wycombe Abbey Education Group as part of the Wycombe Abbey family of schools linked to Wycombe Abbey in the UK; construction began in April 2019 and the school opened in September 2021. WASNJ takes Chinese and international pupils from age 2 to 18, from toddler and kindergarten classes through primary and middle school to sixth form, which the school describes as a 16-year through-train education. Its academic model combines the Chinese national curriculum with a British-style international pathway: an EYFS-based bilingual kindergarten programme, a growing share of English-medium teaching in middle school, and IGCSE and A Level courses in the upper years, with the Extended Project Qualification required of all A Level students. Classes are capped at 20 children in kindergarten and 24 in primary and secondary. The campus covers about 20 acres with some 112,000 sqm of buildings, including a FINA-standard pool, a 600-seat theatre, science laboratories, a design centre and a Chinese Cultural Centre built around a relocated Qing-style ancestral temple, and it can house more than 1,000 boarders from Grade 1 to Grade 12. Pastoral care follows a house and tutor system, and a college counselling team supports university applications worldwide.

Day pupils can use a supervised school bus service, with adult monitors on every bus, covering six central districts of Nanjing (Jiangning, Qixia, Xuanwu, Qinhuai, Gulou and Jianye). The 20-acre campus mixes Western red-brick and limestone architecture with Chinese elements. Teaching buildings surround colonnaded courtyards around a central clock tower. Facilities include a sports complex with an eight-lane, 25 m FINA-standard swimming pool with diving platforms, full-size basketball courts and climbing walls, plus outdoor pitches and a running track. A STEAM centre houses science laboratories, a design centre and music and art spaces, and there is a 600-seat professional theatre with rehearsal rooms and a black box studio. Primary and secondary pupils each have their own library, and the Chinese Cultural Centre is used for calligraphy, painting and tea ceremony.
