Al Wisam School, known as AWIS, is a private co-educational school in Budaiya, Bahrain, opened in 2004 to offer affordable schooling inside the country's private sector. It runs a bilingual Arabic and English programme in three sections: Primary from Key Stage 1, Middle School across Years 7 to 9, and a High School split between IGCSE years and a Sixth Form taking AS and A Level courses. Subjects follow Cambridge syllabuses, with mathematics on the Edexcel route, and the school holds recognition from Cambridge International, Pearson Edexcel, MSA-CESS and Bahrain's own quality authority. By 2018 it reported more than 1,200 pupils of 25 nationalities and around 150 staff, and its admissions team now counts some forty nationalities on site. The campus grew from a single villa into several blocks with science laboratories, an ICT room, art and music rooms, a football pitch, a basketball court and a playground. Pupils with strong IGCSE or A Level grades can earn tuition scholarships.

Arabic appears across the timetable as first language, as a second language, and as the medium for Islamic studies and citizenship, while English carries the Cambridge subjects. German is a third language, taught in small groups from the upper primary years and available right through to A Level.

The British route arrived in 2009 with the Cambridge curriculum, and the first Cambridge board examinations followed a year later. Pearson Edexcel was then added as a second awarding body for IGCSE and A Level work. Pupils today sit five to seven IGCSE subjects in Years 10 and 11, then move into a Sixth Form of AS and A Level courses; three A grades at A Level are worth a quarter off tuition. Cambridge covers English, Arabic, ICT, business and the sciences, while mathematics uses the Edexcel syllabus.
