Al Hekma International School (AHIS) was founded in 1985 and is fully accredited by the Bahrain Ministry of Education and by two world-wide recognized accreditation organizations (MSA) & (NCA). We focus on instilling the values of hospitality, global citizenship, and tolerance toward others. We strive to create an environment that nurtures high self-esteem, intrinsic motivation, low anxiety, and a sense of belonging. AHIS? A home is special. It always is. How can I describe home in 4 words? I would say Adventurous, Hopeful, Imaginative, and Successful. Where do I begin? I've spent my whole life in this fascinating place from KG-12th Grade. Thank you for raising me to stand on mountains and walk on stormy seas. Teachers? They were more like family to me, and you always were a day maker. Thanks a lot, Al-Hekma for embracing my wisdom and full potential to strong motivation and dedication to life-long learning. You will always be missed!
