Xàbia International College (XIC) is the only international school in Jávea for students from 2 to 18 years. The school was founded in 1994 to provide a quality education based on the English National Curriculum, within an international environment. Our absolute priority in Xabia International College is to provide a welcoming environment where our students and staff can be happy. Contented people in a caring place can achieve outstanding things! This is in evidence throughout the College and we can celebrate as a group the great things that are happening. There exists a wonderful energy from Pre-nursery to the Sixth Form; enthusiasm for their individual learning experience and synergy between the students and the teachers is key. We are on this adventure together, we work well together and can devote that vital time to each student due to the small groups that exist. The time a teacher can devote to the students they teach and care for is crucial, and the students positive daily development is noticeable, therefore.

How would you rate Xabia International College (XIC)?
Superb college. Fantastic leadership and teachers. My daughter was very happy with all her teachers and iGCSE results. The college know their students inside out and support them through learning and outside of lessons. Amazing college. Students are respectful and relationships strong.
Disorganised, mediocre if not lazy teaching. We regret sending our child here very much.
Very poor administration, particularly at the secondary school.
XIC is a very friendly school which supports every child's development.
XIC es un colegio pequeño y muy familiar, situado en la preciosa zona de Xàbia. No tienen instalaciones modernas, pero mis hijos reciben un trato y cariño excepcionales, y nosotros como padres, también. Siguen el currículum británico, y les enseñan a pensar y razonar, lo cual me parece muy interesante. Sin duda lo recomiendo 100%!

No he llevado a mis hijos al colegio, pero lo poco que tengo conocimiento de su sistema educativo no lo recomendaría en absoluto. Mi marido es profesor de Universidad, licenciado en dos carreras, y tras ver el nivel que tiene mi sobrina es realmente nefasto. Mi sobrina con 9 años lleva dos cursos en ese colegio, he visto las notas o boletines de mitad de trimestre, con 9 años sólo saben las tablas de multiplicar hasta el 5 y la del 10, prácticamente no tienen conocimientos de materias, el nivel que les enseñan equivalente a 4ª de primaria está entre el primero y segundo de primaria español. Creo que solamente en el nivel de Inglés es lo único medianamente aceptable, mi hija cursa el mismo curso que mi sobrina, y el nivel de Matemáticas y Lengua Española es mínimo. No llevan deberes, no aprenden conceptos, con 9 años están aprendiendo a deletrear las palabras, y a formar números de 4 dígitos. Nada comparable excepto el idioma extranjero, además el precio es escandaloso para tratarse de un colegio privado, tienen demasiadas vacaciones escolares, pues compaginan los períodos vacacionales ingleses y españoles, únicamente empiezan y terminan el curso con dos o tres días de diferencia, y además el horario también es horroroso, acaban a las 4 de la tarde para compatibilizar con una jornada laboral no es recomendable hoy día. Intentan tener prestigio, pero el nivel no tiene ninguna expectativa, si los alumnos llegan a la Universidad española es porque tienen sus propias pruebas de acceso a la universidad. Una estrella por darle algo de puntuación. Lo siento.
