VVIS has been a heartbreaking experience for the whole family. Whilst there are some fantastic teachers working with kids, the head and directors have been extremely unhelpful and unprofessional and clearly have not been considering children's welfare and mental health! There is a degree of bullying going on here. The facilities are not great, the building is tired, there are little to no facilities that make this school stand out from others. One football/volley ball court is available but there are no changing facilities and kids have to change in the toilets for their PE lessons. At first the small class sizes sounded beneficial, however, it seems the real reason behind this are parents taking their children away from this environment and choosing another school.

Unprofessional head of secondary, bullies, berates and humiliates children that don't conform to his absurd hair standards; interrupting their lessons to tell them off. Incredible that someone that like that can be in charge of a school! These are not isolated incidents either, ask around and you will meet plenty of parents who have removed their kids from this school which is a shame as there are some lovely teachers there.

Doesn't have many facilities, and the rooms are not fully equipped, very filthy, and extremely spaceless. A very small school that seems like a kindergarten and you don't have many choices of what to do during the break, instead, just sit on the floor. Some Teachers seem unprofessional, and forget what to do . Don't refund your money and they keep it.

My experience at Vale Verde over the last three and a half years is something I’ll never forget. Moving schools was something I dreaded, however I was welcomed by a school of kind and friendly teachers and staff. The teaching is phenomenal; I loved absolutely every lesson. The students are all so friendly, I was able to make friends very easily, which made my experience at school even better. I can’t thank Louise and all of the teachers enough for giving me such a life-changing experience at Vale Verde. I’ve just finished my education there and I can safely say that it’s something I will never forget.

Amazing school, dedicated teachers who have inspired Dylan to reach his full potential. Would recommend the school to anyone looking for a quality UK education outside Britain. Many thanks to the whole VVIS team.

A great little school. Both our son and daughter spent over 10 years at VVIS, from primary to IGCSE/A level and we felt that the quality of care and teaching was very good. They also offer a great range of subjects, have really nice facilities and the school is set in a lovely location. We were especially impressed how management handled the Covid Lockdown. Within days of all Portuguese schools being forced to close, they set up an online teaching program that was just brilliant (especially compared to what we heard from relatives in the UK/Belgium about the schools there!). Overall a great experience at VVIS
