Information about languages of the Lycée Français Vincent van Gogh

French is the language of instruction. In primary, children choose English or Dutch as their first modern language from petite section (four 45-minute sessions a week) and add a second language from CE2. In collège and lycée the school teaches English, German, Spanish and Dutch, and students follow one of three tracks: the selective American International Section, the EURO option or European section with history-geography partly taught in English, or the standard track.

Information about international degrees and programmes of the Lycée Français Vincent van Gogh

The American International Section opens from CE2 and leads to the Baccalauréat Français International (BFI) in première and terminale, adding around six hours a week in English of North American literature and history-geography. Lycée students can also take part in Model United Nations conferences held in English. The school prepares students for the Diplôme national du brevet, the general baccalauréat and the BFI.

On the La Haye site, partner organisations offer French-language workshops with the Alliance française, music classes (recorder, choir, singing and piano), homework help, arts and sports clubs and holiday camps, and after-school childcare runs on the premises.

Amazing school! They give children all the support that they need. Our kids used to avoid working in school but since they joined this school they found joy in learning - thanks to the dedication of the teachers (since they have had multiple ones and they continue excelling & they are proud of their achievements. Moving our kids to Vincent van Gogh was the best decision that we could have made.

I was a pupil there until early 90's. Great atmosphere, great teachers, and lots of long lasting friendships. What a joy to see my kids going there now, and the changes made over the past years has even increased the quality of education (I must admit, when I checked the Google reviews, some of the bad ones were about the food... which makes me wonder : would I rate the education I get from a restaurant ?)
