About Lycée Francais de Berlin
The French Gymnasium (Lycée Francais) is a unique school in Germany. Founded in 1689 for Huguenot immigrants from France, the school embodies over 300 years of uninterrupted French-language teaching in the tradition of classical humanism. In 1953, the old French Gymnasium and the Collège of the French occupying power were merged into one school. This made the Lycée Français de Berlin the first institution of the postwar period in which German-French cooperation was tested and developed in the school and educational field. Our goal is to promote the personal development of our students through a wide range of subjects as well as artistic, scientific and sporting additional offers. We want to help our students discover and bring out their talents as well as become dedicated and balanced members of society and responsible citizens.

How would you rate Lycée Francais de Berlin?
With all objectivity, the worst institution I came across. Although not all teachers, it is clear that there is definitely a toxic culture in the school regarding the personnel and administration. The disregard for students wellbeing is overwhelming and I have now countless examples not only for my child but also from other students. We did tried our best but after a couple of years with no improvement, it is clear that this is the culture of the school. I would NOT recommend the school at all.
Sehr sehr gut gynasuim
The school's facilities are so poorly maintained that there are safety concerns, on a regular basis teachers do not show up for classes and when they do show up, they insult and disparage students. There is no technology program.

A serious problem with the toilets, the hygiene and the cleaning!! Poor children who have to study in this school.

Katastrophe !
