About International College Spain (ICS)
Throughout its history, International College Spain (ICS) has championed a holistic education for international students and has been very successful at developing caring, informed global citizens and leaders of the future. ICS is a very happy school with a warm atmosphere that is palpable as soon as you enter the school grounds.
We are a very vibrant international community of more than 70 nationalities. International College Spain's school mission of ‘Learning Together for a Better World’, taken together with a strong emphasis on our group’s philosophy of ‘Be Ambitious’, places us in a unique position to positively impact the lives of our students and the local community. Central to our philosophy is the understanding that the next generation of global citizens needs a principled international vision which is truly encompassed by our thinking.
Being the only school in Madrid to offer the three IB programmes PYP, MYP and IBDP in English, International College Spain provides an educational programme where our classes are active and we learn together in a collaborative learning atmosphere. Academics at our school are a priority for us, as are personality development, communication skills, team-working abilities and critical thinking skills. This emphasis on whole-child learning in an international context is a cornerstone of our approach.
Our outstanding IBDP results and placements in premier universities worldwide, including Oxford, Cambridge and the Ivy League Universities, are a testament to our excellent delivery of the IB Programme and our dedicated students and staff.

How would you rate International College Spain (ICS)?
I am in ICS and I think that This is the best school that I’ve been and I’ve been in many schools but this one is the best out of all the others
We have two children at ICS who recently transferred in from top-notch elementary and middle schools in the United States. Our middle schooler (for whom this is his fourth school) feels ICS is the best school he has attended because of the quality of the teachers and the academic rigour. The school is very international, and the administration, faculty and students made our kids and our family feel immediately welcome. Finally, a minor but important item, our kids love the school lunch!
Great school, my son loves going in every day and has improved in every area of his learning.

This is by far one of the best schools in Madrid, value for money wise I think it is the best investment I’ve ever made. My youngest studied at ICS and went to Cambridge University, she was very prepared because of the IB Diploma and the teaching methods at this school.

I am a student there and it is my first year everyone is very nice and caring everyone follows the rules and they are very inclusive at first I didn't want to come to this school but now i think it is amazing although the lunch lines are extremely long!

While the parts of the campus might not be as modern as people might want, ICS is an incredible school in terms of both education and community. As a past graduate I can actually speak about the learning experience and quality of education, and I assure you it is a very good one. I was at ICS for 5 years and have no regrets.
