Good school and good facilities. It expands knowledge and helps evolve.
I really love the school. It has the best energy.
The school is actually great but the management is horrible. Just like other people have said, they don't actually care about the students and just think of them as money makers. I've actually lived in the residence and they are absolutely incompetent. Everything was fine until I started to have some medical problems so they kicked me out to keep a good reputation. They bully the ''problematic'' children into quitting so they keep a good record. After Christmas break I decided to come back despite their efforts of making me quit and they straight out refused because I had a ''background'' which they refused to explain further, even though they promised I could come back a few days earlier. From what I've seen there the management of the residence and the school don't talk to each other and they confuse the parents a lot from one saying one thing and the other a completely different thing. If you want to send your child to this school don't put them in the residence, just come and live with them. I have many other things that happened to me in there like: them coming into my room without my consent or presence and taking photos, the food was horrible but I couldn't buy and make my own food because they were concerned that I wasn't eating enough, I was drinking melatonin for my sleep and they took that as me taking drugs and a lot more that I can't really remember. Please all parents and children that think of going there think again.
There is no denying that the school has beautiful facilities and it should be noted it was recently purchased by a UK education group, Nord Anglia, and with it, a new corporate mindset. Not the same school as it used to be. Teacher turnover is extremely high, they even leave during the academic school year. The concern for the new owner is about the money and not the student. There are better academically challenging schools in Barcelona but Hamelin is convenient for those that live in Maresme and want their kids to continue their education in Spain, not abroad. It’s a popular school for Spanish parents who want their kids to learn English. If a native English speaker, consider going elsewhere. Report card comments in English by the teachers are written at a primary school level. Embarrassing. It's the equivalent of a restaurant with a nice interior (facilities) but the food (academics)) are not commendable.
Teachers are very mean between them. The school directors don't even care about the children. They just think about the money and the parents as clients. The views are amazing but the facilities quite poor. Dust everywhere and old/recycled material. Too expensive. Bad treatment.
Great school! Already 10 years with our kids studying there and we couldn’t be more happy
One of the best schools my daughter attended! She is very content with it.
It is worth the money, dedicated tutors accompany you throughout your journey and help every student achieve their goals. New facilities, science labs are complete, and if something is needed the school will order it without further costs.
One of the best schools in the area. Excellent academic level and facilities. We, as parents, highly recomment this school.
The English language level is very poor for a so called language school and the general class content is not to a very high level. Class sizes are too large, 25 kids. Management is terrible and the whole school is just seen a cash-cow for the owners. Everything seems fine as long as there are no problems, but once there is a problem it is like dealing with a used-car salesman or insurance company. They also charge extra for everything possible at exorbitant rates. 40 euros for a bus ride to a free museum, during school hours, for example. They also show cartoons to the younger kids during the lunch break which is unforgivable. It is a shame because the facilities and most of the teachers are great, just being used the wrong way.

Worst school ever. They cannot handle things correctly, I've been a student here for 4 years now. I want to change schools but my parents wont change. The school knows that I want to change schools but they're not helping a single bit. What they're doing isn't helping, but making the situation worse. They are violent as heck. The food service is also terrible, the forks, knives, and spoons are found incredibly dirty. The amount of money you are paying isn't worth a single thing in this school. Never come to this school if you're planning to study in a good environment.

We were urgent, and the school schedule was over 30 minutes ago. They have taken my son's cell phone. Making us lose something important. I don't find it normal, especially after having explained that he was in a hurry, that it was urgent.

The school will be great but the education I doubt it. They have the surroundings full of garbage, they are incicicos and for more, the neighbors suffer daily that they do what they want, parking where they want, committing infractions per second, endangering children, other vehicles and other people that we use public roads. I have lost count in street lamps lying down, broken curbs and here, god forbid, the blue / green zone. That yes, that they do not see us without the distinctive one to those of the town that we will have the recipe. It is shameful
