QSI International School of El Tigre is a private, nonprofit, co-educational and college-preparatory school in El Tigre, in the Venezuelan state of Anzoátegui. Quality Schools International (QSI) took it over in 2004 from the founder of the former Escuela Los Americas, whose building, a remodelled warehouse, had housed elementary and secondary classes since 1994. The school sits on a five-acre campus just off the Avenida Intercomunal that links El Tigre and El Tigrito and provides an English-language education from preschool (3-4-year-old classes) through Secondary IV, the equivalent of grade 12. It is a small school: recent figures published by the school range from roughly 40 to 67 students from three nationalities, and classes are kept small so teachers can follow each student closely. The program follows an American-style college-preparatory curriculum taught through QSI's mastery learning approach, in which students advance once they have mastered each unit. Intensive English supports children who are still learning the language, and Spanish is taught both to native speakers and as a second language, with an emphasis on Venezuelan culture and history. Older students can take Advanced Placement courses and prepare for the SAT and TOEFL, and graduates have gone on to universities in the United States, Colombia and Ireland. Originally accredited by SACS, the school has been accredited by the Middle States Association (MSA) since 2013.

The preschool program serves 3- and 4-year-olds in a half-day schedule focused on play, readiness and social skills. Elementary covers the 5-year-old class (kindergarten) through the 10/11-year-old classes, and middle school the 11- to 13-year-old classes, where qualified students may already earn secondary credit. English is the language of instruction from preschool to graduation. Children who do not yet speak English fluently follow an Intensive English program until they can join regular classes, while entry to Secondary I-IV requires solid academic English. After-school activities are offered throughout the year and are rescheduled each quintile according to students' interests, usually on Tuesday to Thursday afternoons. Sports clubs include baseball, basketball, soccer, handball and volleyball, and the school is a member of the Eastern Venezuelan Athletics Conference. Robotics classes develop programming and problem-solving skills, and an elected Student Council organises events such as Spirit Week and the Fall Festival.
