THINK Global School, usually shortened to TGS, has no campus at all. It is a travelling boarding high school: every cohort spends the year in four host countries, roughly seven weeks in each with five-week breaks at home in between, and covers eight countries over the two-year course. Only Grades 11 and 12 are offered; entry is in Grade 11 and both years must be completed to earn the leaving qualification, a United States high school diploma carrying accreditation from WASC, the Western Association of Schools & Colleges. The first term ran in Sweden in September 2010, and in 2025-26 the school enrolled 28 students from 20 countries with three students to each teacher. Its Madison Avenue address in New York is an administrative mailing office that the school itself describes as unmanned, not a teaching site. Full annual tuition is USD 94,050, charged on a need-based sliding scale, and 68 per cent of students received aid in 2025-26. Teaching is project-based and place-based, there are no varsity teams and no uniform, and the school is registered as a US 501(c)(3) non-profit.

Information about languages of the THINK Global School

English is the only language of instruction, and every applicant has to demonstrate proficiency in it before enrolling. The school states plainly that it teaches no other language as a subject. In its place, a strand called THINK Local asks students and staff alike to pick up useful everyday vocabulary in the main language of each host country, and every term opens with a preparation week in which language skills are among the things students work up before arrival. The 2025-26 cohort of 28 students between them spoke sixteen languages.

Information about international degrees and programmes of the THINK Global School

The qualification awarded is a United States high school diploma, recognised internationally and carrying accreditation from WASC, the Western Association of Schools & Colleges. Because the American system asks for four years of secondary schooling, Grades 9 and 10 have to be finished somewhere else before joining. The school also administers AP examinations for its own enrolled students, though not for external candidates. It is not an International Baccalaureate school; its own Changemaker Curriculum, built on project-based and place-based work across eight countries, takes that role instead.
