Educational principles

A meticulously planned curriculum maximises each boy's potential from an early age, guiding, inspiring and challenging pupils to achieve consistently strong results and progress to the UK's top prep schools.

School values

The stated aim of the Kensington school is to equip boys with the character and mindset to navigate a changing world, and it names kindness, respect and resilience as the qualities it works to instil. Recognition is built into the week: assemblies in the school hall celebrate initiative and success and name that week Wetherby Ambassadors, a role the school uses to hold up thoughtful, respectful and motivated behaviour as the standard. Because this is a smaller campus with two-form entry, the school keeps a high ratio of staff to pupils so that each boy receives individual attention and support. The highly experienced staff act as role models and work with the pastoral team, running a wide variety of activities through which boys explore their own talents and interests in sport and the arts.
