Hilden Grange is a private independent preparatory school in Tonbridge, Kent, educating boys and girls from age 3 to 13. Founded in 1929, it moved to its Dry Hill Park Road site in 1942, was acquired by the Alpha Plus Group in 2010 and has been part of Inspired Education since 2023.
The school is organised into Early Years (Nursery and Reception), Pre-Prep (Years 1–2) and Prep (Years 3–8), with subject-specialist teaching from Year 3 onwards and setting for Maths and English.

SEND provision is led by a Head of Learning Support. Specialist subject teaching and setting for Maths and English from Year 3 allow the school to cater for individual needs, and where 'Quality First Teaching' is not sufficient the school provides early intervention.
Learning difficulties such as dyslexia and dyscalculia are assessed and provided for in a variety of ways, with staff, pupils and parents actively involved. Support for bilingual and multilingual learners is also covered by the Learning Support Department.

Over the past four years pupils sitting the 11+ have secured grammar school places with a pass rate of between 92% and 100%. Since 2019 pupils have been awarded 114 scholarships to grammar and secondary schools, including 27 in a single year.
Over the last five years the school has helped children secure places at more than 30 secondary schools. The ISI inspection report notes that 'pupils flourish beyond the classrooms in sports, music and arts'.

The school offers more than 40 extracurricular clubs and activities spanning sport, the creative arts and the performing arts, available from Nursery to Year 8.
Sport follows a seasonal programme – hockey, netball, cross country, football, rugby, cricket and athletics – with around 25 teams fielded in weekly fixtures. Music is taught to all pupils and almost two thirds learn an instrument with 13 visiting instrumental teachers; there are concerts, local festivals, an annual music competition and a school musical. Drama productions for Years 4–8 are staged at the E. M. Forster Theatre at Tonbridge School, and all children take Art and Design Technology with specialist teachers.

Optional services charged termly include Pre-Prep and Prep lunches, a Breakfast Club and After School Care sessions for both Pre-Prep and Prep pupils, and individual music lessons.
Pastoral support includes peer mentors and scheduled time with the school counsellor. The school participates in the 15-hour universal entitlement for 3 and 4 year olds, accepts childcare vouchers and the Tax-Free Childcare scheme, and offers a 10% sibling discount on tuition fees from Reception upwards for third and subsequent children.
