School values

Winchester's motto, 'Manners Makyth Man', reflects the founder's belief that people should be judged by their qualities rather than their birth. The school gives pupils time and freedom to think for themselves, valuing intellectual curiosity, kindness and courtesy, and it describes its full boarding model as central to that education.
