Star International School, Mirdif opened in 2008 and joined the International Schools Partnership (ISP) in 2022. It is a STEAM-focused British school for boys and girls aged 3 to 18, with more than 80 nationalities, teaching an enhanced National Curriculum for England from FS1 to Year 13. The Early Years Foundation Stage serves children aged 3 to 5, secondary was launched in 2019 and moved into a new building in 2024, and Key Stages 3 and 4 lead to IGCSE and BTEC qualifications, with options such as design and technology, food and nutrition, psychology, computer science, economics and triple science. In the Sixth Form students choose International A Levels, BTECs or a mix of both, and life skills are taught through a framework developed with Cambridge University and Camtree.
