Information about the curricular adaptation of the Safa British School

Inclusion is led by a Director of Inclusion, and KHDA judged the school's provision for students of determination outstanding. At admission, families are asked to share any IEPs and specialist reports so that support can be planned, and the Inclusion and Pastoral Heads meet parents where needed. A school counsellor and wellbeing team offer academic and emotional support, older students mentor younger ones, and the school works with external partners such as KidsFirst and LightHouse Arabia for further help.

Information about the educational stages of the Safa British School

Safa British School opened in Jumeirah in September 2004 and moved to a new purpose-built campus in Al Safa 1 in 2020. It teaches more than 1,600 boys and girls aged 3 to 18, from over 80 nationalities, through an all-through National Curriculum for England running from FS1 to Year 13, with a student-teacher ratio of about 12 to 1. The Early Years follow the EYFS with a Curiosity Approach and child-led, play-based learning. Key Stage 3 prepares students for GCSE, IGCSE and BTEC courses in Years 10 and 11, and the Sixth Form offers 17 A Level subjects and several BTEC Level 3 courses, which can be taken separately or combined in a blended pathway; ASDAN vocational programmes are also available.

Truly outstanding school! Not commercial like most of the other schools, they are very caring and genuine. Amazing management, happy teachers, great communication. I transferred my son from EIS which I found to be very money-oriented and not progressive at all. My son is really happy and I can see a huge academic progress
