Information about the curricular adaptation of the Jumeirah College

The college states that pupils with a broad range of special educational needs are welcome, and it works within Dubai's framework for inclusive education. Pupils with additional educational needs are given a Learner Profile, drawn up with them and their parents, which gives teachers a personalised route for supporting them. Teaching relies on differentiated learning opportunities, multisensory methods and several means of representation, and a student support team brings together the Head of Inclusion, the school counsellor, heads of year and senior pastoral staff. Progress is tracked through regular data reviews, reports, meetings and lesson observations.
