GPS accepts students of determination in line with Federal Law 29 of 2006 and follows the Dubai Inclusive Education Policy Framework. Ghaf Private School (GPS), in the Al Muntazah Complex of Jebel Ali Village, combines the English National Curriculum with the International Primary Curriculum and its own 21st Century Life Skills programme. The Early Years Foundation Stage covers FS1 and FS2 (ages 3 to 5), followed by Key Stages 1 and 2 and the first years of Key Stage 3 up to Year 8. Learning is student-centred and inquiry-led, a STEAM strand introduces robotics with programmable Lego from Year 4, and UAE Social Studies, Moral Education and the Ministry of Education Arabic and Islamic programmes are taught alongside the British subjects. The school is deliberately small, which lets teachers tailor each child's learning.
