Dubai British School Emirates Hills, founded in 2005 in The Springs, was the first of the Dubai British Schools and is part of the Taaleem group. It follows the National Curriculum for England from a Rising 3s class and the Early Years Foundation Stage through to Sixth Form: students sit GCSE and IGCSE examinations in Years 10 and 11 and in Years 12 and 13 choose three A Levels, three BTECs or a combination of both, from 17 A Level subjects and BTECs in business, graphics, IT, sport and travel and tourism. A STEAM curriculum runs from Year 3 to Year 9.

Foundation Stage days start between 07:40 and 08:00 and finish at 13:15 (FS1) or 13:45 (FS2); Years 3-6 run from 07:55 to about 14:45 and Years 7-13 from 07:55 to 15:30 Monday to Thursday, with a shorter day on Friday. Tuition for 2026-27 ranges from AED 53,027 a year in Foundation Stage and Years 1-2 to AED 79,541 in Years 12-13, paid in three terms, with a 10% discount for the third and subsequent child at any Taaleem school in Dubai. Sixth Form students receive university guidance.
