The Girls' branch of Our Own English High School in Sharjah (OOS) opened in 1982 and today educates more than 6,000 girls from Kindergarten to Grade 12 on a seven-acre campus, making it one of the largest schools in the Northern Emirates. It follows the CBSE curriculum developed by NCERT, New Delhi. Kindergarten is play-based with learning centres and Arabic language sessions; in primary and middle school the CBSE core is taught alongside the UAE Ministry subjects, namely Arabic, Islamic Studies and UAE Social Studies with Moral Education. In Grades 9 and 10 students prepare for the All India Secondary School Examination and choose skill electives such as information technology or artificial intelligence. Grades 11 and 12 offer science, commerce and humanities streams, with options including psychology, home science, informatics practices, accountancy and economics, ending with the All India Senior School Certificate Examination.

Three health units are run by two general practitioners and seven nurses, who carry out growth checks, screenings and immunisations and refer emergencies to the nearby Al Qassimi Hospital. The school has two libraries, six ICT labs, an innovation studio and learning hub with Lego kits and smart boards, and separate laboratories for physics, chemistry, biology and home science. There are music rooms, an art room, second-language and Islamic studies rooms, and a multi-purpose auditorium for assemblies and stage productions. Sports facilities include an indoor games area, an AstroTurf pitch, a 200-metre track and synthetic courts for badminton, basketball, volleyball and throwball. Younger children have a covered outdoor play area with soft play equipment and spacious activity rooms, and the campus also has a canteen, a book store, prayer rooms and chair lifts and elevators for students with limited mobility.
