Lamai International School first opened its doors to the children of Koh Samui in January of 2016 and is delighted to provide students the highest level of education in a bright and flourishing new environment. LIS has classes running from Foundation to Year 9 and has implemented a blended Cambridge and UK National Curriculum that is skillfully delivered by our qualified teachers. Our enthusiastic staff and unified student body make Lamai International School a remarkable place to learn, and I couldn’t be more proud to lead this team as we continue to grow. The school has a great group of teachers who care deeply about the students. They recently introduced education for sustainable development and it has been a great addition to the curriculum. I highly recommend this school!

Школа - мечта, очень рад, что у моих детей теперь есть такой опыт, жаль лишь, что с 2020-21 у школы не будет старших классов. Но тем русским, кто не представляет школу без муштры, "дисциплины" и других совковых стереотипов, не рекомендую - шаблоны может порвать.

Our 3-year and 6-year old kids spent the 2019/2020 school year at LIS. Despite the Covid situation, they made impressive progress in all topics. They did not speak a word of English, they are now almost fluent. Great school, great teachers, great infrastructure, great management team! So much positive energy even when lessons were in remote. Special thanks to Teacher Myles and Teacher Teresa, you rock ?

This school is considered the youngest educational institution on the island. Its location is the Bophut district, near the airport. The training system in ISS is represented by 4 sub-schools, each of which includes several more steps. The school is divided into many levels. Thus, the age of students in school is from 2 to 18 years. The infrastructure of the place is well developed, and the territory is vast. Interestingly, primary and high school buildings are subdivided into several houses.
