Dulwich College International School Bangkok (DCBK) is a British international school on Bang Na-Trad Road, in the Prawet district of Bangkok, and the newest member of the Dulwich College International family of schools. It is a co-educational day school that in the 2026/2027 academic year welcomes children from Nursery to Year 7 (ages 3 to 11) and grows year by year, with Year 8 opening in August 2027 as the College expands towards offering a full education through to Year 13.

DCBK follows an enhanced British curriculum, with immersive Thai and Mandarin instruction, a broad co-curricular programme and pastoral support. Students of all nationalities who meet the academic entry requirements are accepted, and admission is based on academic assessment, English proficiency, past school records and teacher recommendations.

Information about the educational stages of the Dulwich College Bangkok

DUCKS (Dulwich College Kindergarten School) is set in a purpose-built Early Years environment for children aged 3 to 7. It comprises Nursery and Reception, collectively known as the Early Years programme, and Years 1 and 2. Early Years learning is grounded in the UK Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and delivered through play-based, inquiry-led experiences; from Years 1 and 2 students follow an enhanced version of the National Curriculum of England through an inquiry-focused, concept-based approach. The Junior School covers Years 3 to 6 (ages 7 to 11), with increasing subject specialist teaching in Mandarin, Physical Education, Art, Design Technology and Music. The Senior School, for Years 7 to 13, is due to open fully in 2029 as part of the Phase Two development.

The main teaching language is English. All students have the opportunity to learn Thai language, culture and history through different pathways tailored to fluency levels, from complete beginners to students with age-appropriate native-language literacy, and all students study Thai culture and history through Thai Studies. In DUCKS, dual language learning is a fundamental pillar: children are immersed in both languages throughout the school day, with one teacher focusing on English and another on Mandarin. From Year 1 the College offers Mandarin as a Modern Foreign Language through the Wohui Mandarin programme, with pathways for native speakers, heritage learners and non-native learners. Non-native English speakers may be assessed on their English before an admissions decision is made.
