Academia Bilingual School is a small by design, private school that provides excellent bilingual teaching in an international environment. From Kindergarten to the end of Secondary School we support our pupils to develop and achieve their full potential. Our pupils enjoy an attentive and respectful environment, small classes, bilingual teaching in German and English as well as personal support. Our paths crossed with Academia Bilingual School Basel when we learned that the school was moving from Riehen to the city center. I had heard many great things about the school while researching bilingual education in Basel, but Riehen was just not practical for our daily logistics. After a disappointing experience at another bilingual school, we enrolled our daughter at ABSB, and my only regret is not starting there earlier. The school is exceptionally well organized. Oh very good school where my kids were moved from ISB and my kids were protected by Accademia from kesb… I am blocked by ISB to write a review on them in Google -that school is bad so you don’t see all the honest reviews I guess, ISB reported my autistic and adhd kid to kesb for being abused by parents , and my daughter was overwhelmed by that so it did influence our family life. I am glad kesb took ours and Accademia’s side, Accademia was interviewed by social services . We are not in Basel anymore but it was totally worth it that we went to Accade...

We joined Academia School from it very early stages and both our boys stayed for 7 years. Over those years It sometimes was difficult, but we always had a good feeling about the approach and commitment the school has as well as a philosophy of creating ownership with the children.
