It supports children from early childhood through graduation: from the Bilingual Daycare Center for children ages 1.5 to 4, through the English Kindergarten, to the full-day school for 4- to 16-year-olds, which includes grades 1 through 6 in our Bilingual Primary School and grades 7 through 9 in the Bilingual Secondary School.

When I transferred to ipso! Rheinfelden in the summer of 2021 at the age of 13, I was – as with any new beginning – excited, slightly overwhelmed, and unsure of what to expect. However, these initial worries were immediately dispelled when, on my very first day of school, I was warmly welcomed and actively integrated by teachers and classmates. The next three years, which I spent at ipso! until graduating from secondary school, were among the most formative of my academic career so far. However, these initial worries were immediately dispelled when, on my very first day of school, I was warmly welcomed and actively integrated by teachers and classmates. The next three years, which I spent at ipso! until graduating from secondary school, were among the most formative of my academic career so far. Thanks to the relatively small classes, which in my time consisted of an average of 10 students, the teachers were able to specifically address the strengths and weaknesses of each child and also take individual needs into account. I, for example, had significant difficulties with French, which is why Madame Nadia specifically dedicated time to working with me individually on my weaknesses and explaining the material to me step by step. The small class sizes also fostered a close and trusting sense of community, both among the students and in the collaboration with the teachers, something I have never experienced since. The school administration did me perhaps the greatest service with their tireless efforts to facilitate my smooth transition to the Liestal Gymnasium, which ultimately bore fruit. I was able to start my first semester of bilingual instruction, focusing on mathematics and physics, directly from 9th grade at the BEZ (Berufskolleg) without an entrance exam or any other hardships, for which I was exceptionally well prepared. Not only did the school administration provide me with invaluable personal and academic support, but the teachers also significantly shaped my character and knowledge. Andrew Thompson, in particular, imparted an incredible amount of knowledge to me through his history and German lessons. With his engaging presentations, he created a veritable "portal to the past," allowing us not only to understand history but also to experience it firsthand. At the same time, he instilled in us an awareness of "brand language" and consistently drew connections to real-world applications, giving the lessons a unique depth. His vast knowledge and his ability to communicate it clearly had a lasting impact on the teaching. Not only did the school administration provide me with invaluable support, but the teachers also played a crucial role in shaping my learning. Ms. Prita also had a profound influence on me, not only academically, but above all on my character and personal development. Her selection of truly excellent and well-chosen books for English class opened up new perspectives for us. She was always a very pleasant and dedicated person who enriched the lessons both personally and academically. Looking back, I was particularly impressed by how naturally she exemplified open-mindedness – not as a buzzword, but in her interactions with us and the topics covered in class. Mr. Bryan was always approachable, available, and ready to help. No matter the issue, you could always rely on his support, which made everyday school life considerably easier. If you are currently struggling with the decision of whether or not to send your child to ipso! Rheinfelden, I can say from my own experience: This school not only imparted knowledge to me, but also took me seriously as an individual and provided targeted support. That's precisely what made the crucial difference for me.

Fantastic school! Children receive excellent educational support and are encouraged and supported according to their talents, learning styles, and ways of thinking. The teachers and administration are incredibly dedicated, and the school has a very loving, family-like atmosphere!
