Colegio Internacional Alminar is a private, co-educational, secular and ideologically independent school in Dos Hermanas, Seville, which has accompanied generations of students for more than six decades and now belongs to the Ariston Education group. It teaches the Spanish national curriculum from Infantil through Primaria and Secundaria to Bachillerato, in a bilingual model in which children receive 50% of their instruction in English from the age of three, with German added as a second language from the fourth year of Primaria. Its international character also shows in the optional American Dual Diploma, which can be started in the second, third or fourth year of ESO or in the first year of Bachillerato, in exchanges with schools in other countries and in official Cambridge exam preparation from the first year of Primaria. Teaching is personalised, with individual tutorials, a Guidance Department, a speech therapist and therapeutic pedagogy teachers, and from the fourth year of Primaria students join the Aula Digital project built around the iPad. The campus has more than 30,000 m2 of outdoor facilities, including a 25-metre heated indoor swimming pool used in curriculum time, a covered sports hall, a football pitch, an athletics track, padel, basketball, handball and volleyball courts, a fully equipped science laboratory, a multisensory room and a school vegetable garden.

School values
Alminar describes itself as a commitment between families and the school towards a common goal: the integral education of every student, based on the values of solidarity, tolerance and respect, together with academic excellence and the ability to take part in a global, information-based society through motivation, critical thinking and emotional intelligence. Its identity rests on an educational project that is open to the world and centred on respect for diversity. The school states that it does not confuse excellence with outstanding academic records: it values equally the traditionally brilliant student and the student who reaches the maximum of their capacities through effort, and it educates in the value of effort and well-organised daily work. Its educational project is approached from emotional competence, understood as the capacity to recognise, accept and channel emotions.
