Educational principles
Brains International School Telde offers an education that is clear, close and centred on each pupil. Our project combines learning, wellbeing and personal growth. We work with essential values: respect, critical thinking, effort, empathy and an open view of the world. These principles guide pupils throughout Secondary and Baccalaureate.
We use the Brains Method. This model uses practical, participative activities. Pupils learn by doing, reflecting and sharing. Our team helps every pupil to discover their abilities and to improve day by day. We also offer continuous support and straightforward, useful pre-university guidance. In this way, pupils can choose their future with greater confidence.
At Brains Telde we want our young people to feel prepared. We teach them to adapt to change, to make good decisions and to trust in themselves. Our aim is to shape people who are free, responsible and ready for the challenges of today's world.

At Brains International School Telde we educate our pupils in values that guide their lives inside and outside the classroom. We work every day so that they grow into confident, respectful and responsible people. Our project rests on a clear set of values that are easy to understand.
• Respect and tolerance: we teach pupils to value others, to listen and to live together positively.
• Empathy and honesty: we help pupils to put themselves in someone else's place and to act sincerely.
• Critical thinking: we encourage them to ask questions, to analyse and to make well-judged decisions.
• Effort and perseverance: we promote an attitude of daily self-improvement, inside and outside the classroom.
• Teamwork: we learn to work together, to share ideas and to solve challenges as a group.
• Personal balance and wellbeing: we look after their emotional development, their self-esteem and the way they relate to others.
• Global mindset: we open their eyes to the world, to other cultures and to new ways of learning.
• Commitment to the environment: we promote responsible habits and actions that care for our surroundings.
These values are part of their school life and of their personal growth. We want every pupil to become a young person who is well prepared, free and able to contribute something positive to society. At Brains Telde we educate for today, but also for the future.
