Baleares International College Sant Agusti is a British-owned international school offering a British-style education with British-trained teachers. Sant Agusti is the only international primary-only school on the island and follows the British National Curriculum in a close-knit, family-style setting, with personal mentoring and close pastoral care led by a Leader of Wellbeing. The two Baleares International College schools are the only COBIS compliant schools in Mallorca and take part in The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award.

Information about languages of the Baleares International College Sant Agustí

In addition to the British curriculum, the school delivers an extensive languages programme. All students learn Spanish from the age of three, taught by qualified Spanish teachers, with provision for both Spanish as a First Language and Spanish as a Foreign Language across all Key Stages. Catalan is taught from Year 2, and students may study German and French from the age of eight (Year 3), each taught by qualified specialist teachers at the appropriate level. A comprehensive English as an Additional Language (EAL) programme operates across all Key Stages: new students are assessed on arrival to determine their level of English and grouped accordingly. The school's EAL provision has been accredited by Language for Results and recognised by The Bell Foundation.

The sports programme, led by a Director of Sport, includes sailing, beach volleyball and swimming alongside yoga, football, hockey and tennis. The school organises day trips that complement classroom learning, including team-building activities and cultural excursions, and as part of the Orbital Group students can take part in cultural exchange programmes as they get older.

We have been at the school since 2017 and it is outstanding. The principal Miss Miller is the best principle we've ever experienced. She's thoughtful and is constantly making changes on behalf of the parents to make the school truly a part of their community. The teachers are also incredibly dedicated and fantastic. Apparently the school is owned by a large corporation and although they don't pay their teachers or staff very well you would never know it by the way the teachers and staff are so dedicated to the students and Families.
