Colexio Manuel Peleteiro is a private, independently funded school in Santiago de Compostela with no religious or political affiliation. Its roots go back to the late 1940s and the Academia Minerva, officially recognised in 1951 and founded by Manuel Peleteiro Irago and Dolores Ramos Fernández; it took its current name in 1967 and in June 2009 moved to a purpose-built campus at Monte Redondo, surrounded by nature, with a separate building for each stage. It joined the Globeducate group in 2026. This campus teaches primary, secondary (ESO) and the Spanish Bachillerato, while the school's infant centre, Dolores Ramos, operates in the city centre. Primary pupils follow a trilingual English-Spanish-Galician project with half of early primary teaching in English, and French, German and Chinese are also offered. The school places strong emphasis on academic results and personalised tutoring, and has its own professional music conservatory, a residence for ESO and Bachillerato boarders, a central library of more than 30,000 volumes, a large auditorium, the Montouto sports complex, exchanges with schools in England, France and Germany, a long-running lecture series and a school magazine, Vamos, first published in 1951.

This campus covers primary education (six to twelve, with a trilingual programme and tutors for each group), compulsory secondary education (ESO, twelve to sixteen) and the two-year Bachillerato that prepares students for university entrance exams. Infant education for children aged three to six is provided at the school's separate Dolores Ramos centre in the city centre, which offers English immersion for half the day and weekly swimming.

Spanish and Galician are taught alongside English in a trilingual project in infant and primary: English covers half of the timetable in early primary and a third later on, and one further subject per year is taught in English in the first years of ESO. German starts in the infant years and can be continued as an option in secondary; French is offered as a subject in secondary and Bachillerato and as an after-school class from primary; and Chinese can be studied from first grade.

Peleteiro teaches the Spanish curriculum through to the Bachillerato rather than a foreign diploma, with a strong language programme: English with official Cambridge exams from 1st ESO (A2 to C2) and IELTS, TOEFL and SAT preparation if needed, DELF exams in French, Goethe-Institut exams in German, and Chinese with Confucius Institute exams, for which the school is the only examination centre in Galicia. Students take part in the European Youth Parliament and in debate leagues in English, and in exchanges with schools such as Abingdon, Sevenoaks and Marlborough College.

Every primary pupil takes one extracurricular activity within the school timetable, and more are available afterwards for all ages: athletics, basketball, football (7, 8 and 11-a-side), judo, swimming, skating, rhythmic gymnastics, chess, modern dance, drama, a press club, audiovisual and photography workshops, Galician folklore and bagpipes, origami, a STEM workshop, visual arts, and Chinese and French classes. Federated teams compete in basketball, football and chess, and the music centre runs ensembles, an orchestra, a choir and a modern music workshop.

The dining hall has its own kitchen and a nutritionist, and families can also choose a packed-lunch option. More than ten bus lines reach towns as far as Lalín and A Pobra do Caramiñal with monitors on board. A nurse is on site throughout the school day, backed by an agreement with a nearby hospital. The campus has a cafeteria, a shop for uniforms and supplies, a guidance department with psychologists, and a school-continuity insurance arranged with the parents' association (AMPAP).
