Jeddah International School (JIS) is a private international school in the Al Khalidiyah district of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, that has served the city's international community since 1997. It belongs to the Al-Feras Educational Company, which also runs other schools in Jeddah, and is licensed by the Saudi Ministry of Education. JIS runs two parallel sections on one campus: an English Section that follows an American curriculum leading to the JIS/MSA High School Diploma, and a French Section that prepares students for the French Baccalaureate. Children can start in Nursery or Pre-KG and continue through KG1 to KG3, Elementary (Grades 1-5), Middle School (Grades 6-8) and High School (Grades 9-12), with boys' and girls' sections. High school students earn credits year by year, must sit the SAT before graduating, and can add College Board Advanced Placement courses taught by JIS teachers or online courses from the University of Nebraska High School. Arabic is taught at every grade under the Ministry curriculum, and French is offered as a foreign language in the English Section from Grade 1. The school is accredited by the Middle States Association and Cognia (formerly AdvancED) and is a member of NESA. Published 2026-27 tuition for the English Section ranges from about 13,000 riyals in Nursery to about 37,000 riyals in Grade 12, plus VAT and books, and includes uniforms, insurance and field trips.
