Loved everything about my time at NIST even if I didn't get to graduate from there. Made some great friends and still have good memories of the school.

Having worked at several schools throughout Asia, I'm happy to now be at a school as supportive and progressive as NIST and have no plans to leave! From an employment perspective, the school is simply stellar, with an excellent salary and benefits package, and fantastic opportunities for further professional learning. Simply put, NIST is willing to invest in people, and that makes all the difference in ensuring that we're able to keep the best teachers and staff. This in turn directly impacts student learning. Having worked in both the teaching and operational side of schools, I've very rarely encountered any that match NIST in respect to the level of support and range of programmes on offer for students. Bolstered by a highly inclusive community, this translates into a nurturing environment that empowers children to take charge of their learning. The one area in which we are finally having some much-needed progress is in the facilities, which were inherited from another school. Several of the buildings are a few decades old, and NIST is now launching a long-term development plan to completely overhaul the campus. When that is complete, it will be the final piece to round out a fantastic community that truly does live its values.

I applied for NIST a few months ago before 2018 ended, and to be completely honest, when I met some of the staff for the assessment/tour I already knew it was a great school. The positive energy that everyone gives off is a really comforting feeling, and I have no idea if I got in or not, regardless, NIST is an extremely welcoming and friendly place. Hoping for the best and a definite recommend !!

Best international school right in the heart of Sukhumvit. Look no further if you’re looking for the best and most dedicated teachers.

Lovely school and a college like experience for even the younger students. They can wander freely and safely - and enjoy social time in addition to a well structured and thought out curriculum. It is low stress and the students are thoughtful and well behaved. Their is a chef and nice variety of healthy food. Teachers are top notch. Old students mentor younger. I'm from NYC /USA so in my comparison to home, a very nice choice for an urban private school.

I'm a proud alumni of NIST International School, back when the school was actually called the "New International School of Thailand" (hence the abbreviation, "NIST".) I have a lot of fruitful memories of attending this school. I loved the fact it's situated in the heart of Bangkok in an area of a lot of Western influence. The quality of the teachers and the International Baccalaureate curriculum sets NIST apart from many other schools in Bangkok, and the region. I look forward to attending my graduating class' 10-year reunion this December!
