Speech and language support

Information about the curricular adaptation of the British School Muscat

Pupils who speak other languages are supported in class and, when needed, in separate specialist lessons so they can access a curriculum taught in English. The Learning Support team works on speech and communication, cognition and learning, emotional and behavioural needs, and sensory and physical needs, and collaborates with speech therapists, educational psychologists and occupational therapists in Oman and abroad. The school cannot currently provide full-time one-to-one support, so applications from children with additional needs are assessed individually with the family.

I went British School Muscat for 5 years. It's a great school with funny teachers and I met all my best friends here! Top notch new facilities too. It's a shame my family eventually left the country, it's a great place to live.
