QSI International School of Skopje is a private, non-profit, co-educational international day school in the Karpoš district of Skopje, North Macedonia. Founded in 1996, it is part of Quality Schools International (QSI), a non-profit network of around 35 schools, and has served Skopje's expatriate and local families for some thirty years. The school teaches an American curriculum in English from Preschool, which children join at age three, through Grade 12 (Secondary IV), and its community includes students of more than 20 nationalities. Instruction follows QSI's mastery learning model, in which pupils advance once they have mastered each unit at an A or B level, combined with character education through the QSI Success Orientations. Teachers are mostly educated and certified in the United States or the United Kingdom, and classes are small. Secondary students can take Advanced Placement courses on site and online, and the school is an approved AP Capstone school. QSI Skopje has been accredited by the Middle States Association (MSA) since 2000 and is affiliated with the US Department of State Office of Overseas Schools. Since 2013 it has occupied its own campus with a 1,600 m² building and 6,500 m² of outdoor space, and it offers Intensive English, learning support and counselling.

Information about the educational stages of the QSI International School of Skopje
Classes are organised by age. Preschool admits children who are three by 1 November and uses play-based thematic learning. Elementary runs from the 5-year-old to the 10-year-old class, with art, music, library, PE, technology and other languages as specials. Middle School covers the 11- to 13-year-old classes, and Secondary School (Secondary I-IV, equivalent to Grades 9-12) leads to a QSI diploma, with AP courses and the AP Capstone programme.

Information about languages of the QSI International School of Skopje
English is the language of instruction at every level. Children with no prior English are accepted up to the 13-year-old class: preschoolers learn the language naturally through play, and pupils aged six and over can join the Intensive English programme until they can follow regular classes. As foreign languages the school employs teachers of French, German and Spanish, and Macedonian, the host-country language, is also taught.

Secondary students follow QSI's college-preparatory programme and graduate with a QSI diploma designed to give access to American and international universities. Advanced Placement (AP) courses from the College Board are offered on campus and online through QSI Virtual School, with no fixed limit on how many a student may take; recent courses have included AP Seminar, World History, Calculus AB, Biology, Psychology and Macroeconomics. QSI Skopje is an approved AP Capstone school, offering the two-year AP Seminar and AP Research sequence, and it also administers the PSAT, SAT and MAP tests.

After-school activities run every day for 45 minutes and are usually free unless an outside instructor is needed. Elementary pupils can choose from options such as basketball, football, gymnastics, karate, volleyball, robotics, coding, chess, rock climbing, drama, improv comedy, expressive dance, arts and crafts, Lego, gardening and movie making. Middle and secondary students play basketball, volleyball, soccer and track and field by season, and join clubs such as Model United Nations, student council, digital media and yearbook, coding, math, trivia and philosophy. Private music lessons are also held on campus.

An optional hot lunch, with a choice of two main dishes, is prepared by a professional caterer, and pork and nuts are not served. The school offers a door-to-door transport service, and a registered nurse runs the health office during the school day. The Center for Exceptional Education, led by a trained coordinator, provides learning support plans and in-class help, while the counsellor offers individual and group support and university guidance. The Parent Support Group organises events such as a Family Campout, International Night and a Fall Festival.

Since 2013 the school has occupied a 1,600 m² building with 14 classrooms, a large music studio, an art room, a library holding about 11,000 fiction and non-fiction titles, a gymnasium and a community centre. Outside, 6,500 m² of grounds include a large playground for younger children, a grass soccer field, basketball, volleyball and tennis courts, and an ecological garden looked after by the students. The kitchen and cafeteria serve hot lunches.
