Escuela Tomás Alva Edison (TAE) is a private trilingual school in the Del Valle area of Benito Juárez, Mexico City, founded in 1983 and part of the International Schools Partnership (ISP) since 2019. It educates children from 18 months to 19 years in separate buildings for each stage, all a short distance apart: nursery and preschool on San Borja and, from the 2026-27 year, a new preschool campus on Poussin; primary on Adolfo Prieto; secondary on Amores; and the preparatoria on Heriberto Frías. The early years combine the Early Years Foundation Stage with the Cambridge curriculum, primary and secondary follow Cambridge Pathways, and in the preparatoria students choose between the UNAM bachillerato and the IB Diploma Programme, which the school was authorised to teach in 2023 and whose first graduates finished in 2025. TAE is accredited by Cognia, Cambridge International Education and IFAL. Lessons are given in Spanish, English and French, with German and Mandarin as options, in a community of 23 nationalities and 12 home languages, and the school reports that 98% of graduates enter their university of choice. Pupils can choose from around 25 extracurricular activities, take part in the TAEMUN conference, academic competitions and trips, and benefit from the KiVa anti-bullying programme, personalised learning support and the school's own transport service.

TAE runs its own school transport service covering the main areas around the school, with fixed routes and timetables and constant supervision. Secondary and preparatoria students have an on-site cafeteria, and the new preschool campus includes a dining room. A Personalised Learning Department supports pupils with specific needs, working with teachers, families and external therapists. Families can apply for SEP scholarships and for a UNAM scholarship, a daily uniform is worn, and the school organises local outings as well as international trips for pupils from age nine.

TAE uses several buildings in Colonia del Valle, each designed around one stage. The new Poussin preschool campus covers 1,262 m² with 13 classrooms, a dining room, two multi-purpose rooms, music and art rooms, gardens and outdoor play areas. Secondary pupils have their own building with a library, sports courts and science classrooms, while the preparatoria campus has biology, chemistry and physics laboratories, a new library and a new sports patio. A new secondary and preparatoria campus in Xoco is projected to open in August 2028.
