Forest City International School (FCIS) is a private, secular, coeducational international day and boarding school in Forest

City, Johor, Malaysia. Established in September 2018, FCIS provides a continuous Pre-K to Grade 12 education through a

US-aligned American curriculum. Residential boarding is available from Grade 4.

FCIS combines academic foundations with inquiry, project-based learning, STEM, the arts, world languages,

extracurricular activities and personalised student support. The school serves a community representing more than 20

nationalities and provides English as an Additional Language (EAL) support for multilingual learners. [1,3,5]

Upper School students progress from Grades 7–8 into Grades 9–12 and can pursue university-preparation pathways

including Advanced Placement (AP) and the CATS University Foundation Programme (UFP), supported by individual

college counselling. [4,6]

FCIS joined the CATS Global Schools network in 2024. The school is accredited by the New England Association of

Schools and Colleges (NEASC) and is a member school of the East Asia Regional Council of Schools (EARCOS).

Our son joined the Early Years section three months ago with no prior exposure to English. The first weeks were tearful, but the teachers were incredibly patient and he now goes to school happily every day.

I recommend not sending your child to this shameless school. They dont deliver half of what they promise when signing up. Many should be withdrawing soon
