QSI International School of Bishkek is an independent, co-educational, non-profit day school in the Kyrgyz capital and part of Quality Schools International (QSI), a network of international schools founded in 1971. It has served expatriate and local families since 1994, teaching in English and drawing on North American and international standards. The school admits children from age two in its preschool through to Secondary IV (US Grade 12, age 18); its 2024-25 school profile reports about 110 students of 16 nationalities and small classes. Learning follows the QSI mastery-learning model: students are placed by age, taught reading, writing and mathematics at their instructional level, and given extra time and support until they master each unit, while the seven Success Orientations guide character development. The programme is described as an American college-preparatory curriculum leading to QSI diplomas, with Advanced Placement courses and the AP Capstone sequence available, partly online through QSI Virtual School. QSI Bishkek is accredited by the Middle States Association (MSA), belongs to the Central and Eastern European Schools Association (CEESA) and competes in the Central Asia Federation of Athletics, Activities and Arts (CAFA). Its main building was rebuilt in 2020, and an adjacent building houses the preschool.

School values

QSI Bishkek starts from the conviction that children arrive at school eager to learn and that the school's job is to keep that motivation alive. Through mastery learning and performance-based education, each child is placed where they can be challenged yet successful. The school also gives weight to character: the Success Orientations of trustworthiness, responsibility, kindness and politeness, independent endeavour, aesthetic appreciation, group interaction and concern for others are taught in every grade.
