QSI International School of Kosovo (QSIK) is a private, non-profit, co-educational international day school in Pristina, the capital of Kosovo. It belongs to Quality Schools International (QSI), a non-profit network of more than 35 schools on five continents. Since the 2020-21 school year it has occupied a campus in the Veternik area, along the M-2 highway near Albi Mall, about five minutes from the city centre and ten from the US Embassy. Teaching is in English and follows a North American curriculum delivered through QSI's mastery learning model: students work through clearly defined units and move on once they have mastered each one, with placement in mathematics and literacy based on achievement rather than age alone. The school serves children from the preschool years, with its accreditation covering a 2-year-old class, through Secondary IV (Grade 12), and its community includes students from more than 17 nationalities. QSIK is accredited by the Middle States Association (MSA) as part of the QSI school system for 2022-2029. French and German are taught as foreign languages, Intensive English helps newcomers, and secondary students can take Advanced Placement courses on site or through QSI Virtual School. Character education through the QSI Success Orientations and the EMPOWER programme for social-emotional learning and child protection runs through all year groups.
