Educational principles
GIS Monza is an IB World School delivering the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP), enriched with a Reggio Emilia inspired approach that places children at the centre of learning.
Play-based learning is used throughout the school, supported by Homeroom Bases with role play areas, ateliers, light tables and Coding BeeBots. The school documents learning daily: parents receive a diary explaining the group learning that has taken place.
School values
The school states five values: Excellence, Global Citizenship, Lifelong Learners, Multilingualism and Human Principles.
Global Citizenship is described as a sense of belonging and action in a multicultural society, respecting and celebrating diversity; Human Principles cover responsibility, honesty, integrity, empathy and respect, together with care for the environment.
