Avinya International School is a young private day school in the Mokila area of Shankarpally, on the western outskirts of Hyderabad in Telangana, India. Its name comes from the Sanskrit word for innovation, and the school was set up by a family with a long history of running educational institutions in the region. It currently welcomes children from the age of three, with admissions open from Nursery through Grade 4, and it plans to move to a larger main campus in 2027. The school is a candidate school for the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP), so learning is organised around inquiry, concepts and transferable skills rather than rote memorisation.
